Unlike standard logistics lines, this service is tailored for customers whose cargo volume is below 1 cubic meter, offering a more cost-effective way to consolidate and ship small parcels to Canada.

Shipping Requirements for Canada Sea Freight Small Parcels

1) Minimum Weight & Item Restrictions

  • Minimum chargeable weight: 23kg

  • Within 100kg shipment: Maximum 3 SKU types (avoid mixed products)

  • Over 100kg shipment: Maximum 5 SKU types

  • Extra SKU fee after exceeding the limit: 30 RMB per SKU

2) Weight Charge & Volumetric Calculation

  • Charged by actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater

  • Volumetric weight formula:
    Length × Width × Height (cm) / 6000
    (Different from the air freight rule, which uses division by 5000)

3) Parcel Size & Weight Limits

  • Maximum parcel length: 1.2 meters

  • Maximum weight per parcel: 30kg

  • Exceeding either limit will incur an oversize/overweight fee of 150 RMB per piece

Canada Small Parcel Consolidation Process

1. Inquiry
Confirm freight rate and pick-up/warehouse address.

2. Cargo Collection
Products can be sent from multiple suppliers; warehousing and receiving are free of charge.

3. Consolidation & Loading
Once all cargo arrives, it will be consolidated, repacked, and loaded into containers.

4. Customs Declaration & Sea Freight
Provide cargo details and consignee information to initiate customs declaration and shipment.

5. Payment
Freight bill is issued before arrival at the port. Payment methods include:

6. Clearance & Final Delivery
