Important Notice on Delivery Delays in Australia
Dear Valued Clients,
We understand the urgency and frustration caused by recent delivery delays in Australia, and we sincerely appreciate your patience during this time.
After thorough investigation and continuous communication with local partners, we would like to share the current situation transparently:
1. Increased Customs Inspections Causing Delays
Since late December, customs inspection rates in Sydney have increased significantly.
Although additional inspection points have been introduced, processing capacity remains limited. As a result, a large number of containers are being held for inspection, leading to extended release times.
2. Congestion at Bonded Warehouses
Due to the high volume of inspected containers, bonded warehouses are currently operating beyond capacity.
This has slowed down container unpacking, sorting, and handling efficiency, which directly impacts delivery timelines.
3. Slower Last-Mile Delivery Arrangements
Local delivery is typically arranged based on regional consolidation to optimize transportation efficiency.
However, due to reduced cargo flow caused by customs delays, it now takes longer to accumulate sufficient shipments for dispatch, resulting in additional waiting time.
4. Partial Deliveries from the Same Container
Given the warehouse congestion and limited manpower, containers are being processed in batches.
This means shipments from the same container may be delivered in multiple stages rather than all at once.
What We Are Doing
Global Vertical has been actively coordinating with local warehouses and delivery partners.
We have already pushed for priority dispatch, and in many cases, deliveries are now being arranged without waiting for full truckloads.
Our Commitment
While these challenges are largely due to external factors beyond our direct control, please rest assured that we are doing everything possible to minimize delays and keep your shipments moving.
We truly value your trust and understanding.
For any urgent inquiries, please feel free to contact our team directly.
