Amazon Peak Season 2025: Logistics Guide for BFCM Sellers

Amazon Peak Season 2025: Logistics Guide for BFCM Sellers

1. Delivery Fees

From October 15, 2025, to January 14, 2026, Amazon will apply peak season delivery fees. For the U.S. and Canadian marketplaces, the rates remain the same as 2024. For other marketplaces, sellers must check updated delivery fees using the Amazon Revenue Calculator or Fee Preview Report. To better plan ahead, Amazon recommends using tools such as Recommended Minimum Inventory and FBA Sales Forecasting to estimate demand and prepare cost strategies in advance.

2. Inbound Cut-Off Dates

The deadlines for Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion submissions have also been released. The promotion submission deadline is October 28, while corresponding inbound inventory cut-off dates are October 9, October 20, and October 30. Sellers should closely track these dates to avoid delayed arrivals that could impact sales. Amazon strongly recommends completing stock preparations in August–September and shipping inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers early.

3. Delivery Window Adjustments for Cross-Border Shipments

Amazon has shortened the official delivery window for cross-border shipments to 7 days. Sellers are now required to enter precise estimated delivery windows. Shipments arriving within the planned time frame will receive priority processing, while those outside may face delays. To mitigate risks, sellers must coordinate closely with carriers and update the delivery window in Seller Central if any changes occur during transit.

4. Inventory Management with AWD

Amazon encourages sellers to use AWD (Amazon Warehousing & Distribution) during peak season. Compared with FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), AWD storage fees are 80% lower during peak season and not subject to storage capacity limits. AWD also offers automatic replenishment. If sellers maintain an auto-replenishment ratio above 70%, they can enjoy an additional 10% discount on AWD storage fees, among other incentives.

5. First-Mile Solutions

Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) and Amazon SEND (cross-border carrier program) will continue to provide first-mile shipping options. In particular, AGL’s Amazon Preferred Inbound (AMP) program waives the FBA inbound placement service fee, helping sellers reduce costs. To refine logistics strategies, sellers can use the Storage Savings Calculator to compare FBA and AWD costs and optimize operations for peak season.

With these new logistics updates, Amazon is emphasizing early preparation, precise delivery scheduling, and smarter inventory management. Sellers who adapt quickly will be best positioned to capture demand and maximize sales during the holiday season.
